DBF Viewer 2000 allows you to set the characters to lower or upper case, capitalize words and remove leading spaces or spaces inside the fields.

The program's search function is definitely worth mentioning, due to its flexibility. If you want to locate a specific entry, you can search by one or more items, from individual columns. You can set DBF Viewer 2000 to match the items to your keywords or values or set it to look for values that are greater, lesser, greater or equal, within a certain range and so on. It is also possible to filter the data, to show entries that contain certain keywords or values and to sort the information, by certain column headers.

Besides loading a database, you may also build one from the ground up. When creating a database, you must define your own column headers, the length of their fields and the maximum number of digits, if they contain numbers. The software allows you to specify what type of information will be added in each column. You can set their contents to characters, numbers, dates and more.
